Christopher Koppitz

“It was a great pleasure for me to have been asked to join the COE academy and to take part in one of their tours. During my time in Baden-Baden with the orchestra, I had the chance to talk to and share experiences with so many professional musicians and, above all, wonderful people. The way music was played really struck me, particularly the way the orchestra sounded like a single entity. The Chamber music level was one of the highest I have ever experienced. Furthermore it was truly a wonderful opportunity to have lessons with the COE’s principal oboist Kai Frömbgen. It’ll undoubtedly mark my journey as an Oboist.”

Christopher Koppitz is a Portuguese oboist currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. He is a member of the Gustav Mahler Judendorchester 2014 and of the Ensemble Palhetas Duplas, a bassoon and oboe/cor anglais ensemble founded in 2004.
