How to become a friend of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe By becoming a Friend you are helping to ensure that this unique group of European musicians can continue to bring pleasure to audiences worldwide. Your name will be added to our mailing list and you will receive bulletins providing up to date news of the Orchestra's activities including details of new recordings, together with schedules of forthcoming concerts enabling you to make advance ticket reservations. In addition it will sometimes be possible to arrange access for you to rehearsals and opportunities to meet the members of the Orchestra informally after concert performances. Individual Friends Individual music lovers are asked to subscribe a minimum of £20 for life membership of our Friends' organisation, but naturally any donations above this figure are helpful and further contributions at any time in the future welcome. Your name will automatically be added to our mailing list, and your gift added to our Friends' fund, which provides general working capital for the Orchestra. Corporate Friends Corporate Friends, for the most part companies and charitable funds, are invited to contribute a minimum of £2,000 either as a lump sum or in instalments over a period of time, in return for which the COE undertakes to provide them with publicity in our printed literature, for example in concert programmes, in addition to the normal benefits associated with becoming a Friend. We can also provide smaller groups of musicians from the COE to perform at special receptions and corporate or private events. The COE is a registered British charity, number 283484, and therefore is able to take advantage of various tax concessions.
