Timeline - 2010 - 1

Some COE concerts (Missa Solemnis at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, concert with Ivan Fischer and Julia Fischer at London’s Royal Festival Hall, Smetana’s Má Vlast with Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Styriarte Festival in Graz) are streamed online or as free public screenings. Replays of the COE concert in May at the Cité de la musique can be viewed online on Arte tv and listened to on Radio France’s website. The COE receives standing ovations for their performance of Má Vlast with Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Styriarte Festival. Three DVDs are released on the European markets: Harnoncourt and COE playing Beethoven at the 2007 Styriarte Festival, Jurowski/Grimaud/COE playing Strauss and Ravel at the Cité de la musique in 2009 and Ashkenazy/Sokolov/COE playing Schumann and Sibelius at the Cité de la musique in 2008.
