Personnel and Planning Manager Vacancy

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe is recruiting a new Personnel and Planning Manager.

Role

You will be responsible to the General Manager for the management of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe membership and associated guest musicians. You will manage the personnel systems of the Orchestra and work with the General Manager in relation to the artistic planning of COE rehearsals, concerts, and recording sessions on tour in the UK and overseas.

You will be highly organized and at ease working independently as well as working as part of a small management team. Initiative, intelligence and flexibility of approach will be vital qualities. You will most likely have experience as an orchestral Personnel Manager or Artist agent and it will be an advantage if you are fluent in several European languages.  

You will have an understanding of the professional standards required for working with a world-class orchestra in a pressured and exciting environment.

The position is offered on a Full Time basis at the orchestra’s Westminster office and on tour with the Orchestra (you would be on tour and away from home for approximately 90-100 days per year).
