We are delighted to share the exciting news that the Chamber Orchestra of Europe has been nominated for the Orchestra of the Year Award by Gramophone. This brand-new award is a public vote to recognise the excellence of an ensemble and the COE has been selected by Gramophone’s editors as one of eight ensembles for its outstanding works on record over the past year.
In particular these are our recordings of the Mendelssohn Symphonies with Yannick Nézet-Séguin (Deutsche Grammophon), the album Visions of Prokofiev with Lisa Batiashvili (Deutsche Grammophon) and the Mozart Piano Concertos No 25 & 27 with Piotr Anderszewski (Warners).
The winner will be revealed at the 2018 Gramophone Classical Music Awards in September.
Now we earnestly seek your vote!
