Beth Randell, Horn

Beth Randell has been a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe since 1993. With the orchestra, she has participated in projects such as a Carnegie Hall Beethoven Cycle; the 100th Anniversary Concert of Wigmore Hall; the Edinburgh Festival series of the complete wind music of Strauss and Mozart; and, the Brahms Symphonies with Bernard Haitink at the BBC Proms in London and at the Lucerne Festival.

Beth also regularly performs as a guest with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra.

Recording projects include The Brandenburg Concertos for Virgin Classics and the complete Strauss Wind Music for Phillips.

Beth is Senior Horn Tutor at Birmingham Conservatoire, also teaches at the Purcell School and Junior Royal Academy of Music and has recently been appointed asĀ Assistant Deputy Head of Wind, Brass and Percussion at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

She is Horn Tutor for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and strongly supports their Inspire Programme, an access programme helping young musicians.
