Tour to Antwerp and Ghent (September 2024)

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe will be performing two concerts in Antwerp and Ghent this September with conductor Valentin Uryupin and cellist Julia Hagen. The concerts will feature works by Bartok, Schumann, Prokofiev and Shostakovich. We look forward to working with both artists for the first time. Our concert on 19th September is planned to be broadcast live on Klara Radio. Please watch this space for further information.

Kronberg Festival 2024

At this year’s festival, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe will perform a number of concerts with Sir András Schiff, Heinz Holliger, pianist Kirill Gerstein, violinist Ilya Gringolts, alumni from the Kronberg Academy, as well as Martina Consonni from Sir András Schiff’s Building Bridges initiative on 25th, 28th and 29th September at the Casals Forum.

Tour with Sir Antonio Pappano and Bertrand Chamayou

This November, the COE musicians are delighted to join forces again with one of their dearest friends, Sir Antonio Pappano. Together with French pianist Bertrand Chamayou – who is making his COE debut – they will travel to Italy (Rho, Brescia, Modena, Turin, Udine), Germany (Aschaffenburg) and France (Dijon and Paris), performing 9 concerts between 8th and 18th November. The programme for this intense touring project features works by Milhaud, Ravel, Saint-Saens, Gershwin and Bernstein.
