Epidaurus Festival 2025, Athens

We are delighted to have been invited again to perform at the majestic Odeon of Herodes Atticus for this year’s Epidaurus Festival after last year’s concert with Sir Simon Rattle and Magdalena Kožená. On 10th June 2025, we will be performing with conductor Constantinos Carydis and pianist Francesco Piemontesi in a programme by Liszt, Purcell and Berlioz. We will open the concert with a world première of O Lightless Light! – Ode to Oedipus by the Greek composer Periklis Koukos, a piece which was co-commissioned by the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the Athens Epidaurus Festival.
