The COE and Rudolf Buchbinder

The COE and pianist Rudolf Buchbinder appear at two international music festivals: MusikFest Bremen and Grafenegg Festival on 30th August and 1st September, starting Beethoven’s 250th anniversary season with Piano Concertos Nos. 1 and 5.

The COE, Joshua Weilerstein and Francesco Piemontesi

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe performs for the first time with Joshua Weilerstein and they are joined by Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi for two concerts in Ascona and at the Herbstgold-Festival in Eisenstadt, featuring works by Haydn, Liszt, Brahms, Bartok, Kodaly and Golijov.

The COE and Sir András Schiff

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Sir András Schiff take part in the Kronberg Academy Festival 2019 with Academy soloists on 30th September, performing works by Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart. The COE and Sir András then travel to Berlin, Milan and Verona.

The COE and Daniel Harding

The COE collaborates for the first time with conductor Daniel Harding, touring to France, Switzerland and Italy. Together, they perform Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances op. 72 and Brahms’s Symphony No. 2. In particular, the second concert of this tour will take place at the brand new Concert Hall in Andermatt which only opened in June this year.

Mozartwoche 2020

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe returns to Salzburg’s Mozartwoche with conductor Andrew Manze and former Principal Oboe of the COE François Leleux. The programme includes Mozart’s Symphonies Nos. 31 and 41, Mozart’s Oboe Concerto and a series of Divertimenti.

Beethoven Symphony Cycle with Yannick Nézet-Séguin
