Håkan Rudner, Violin
Håkan Rudner became a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe in 1986, the year of his graduation.
Born in Sweden in 1964, he started studying the violin at the age of 8. In 1981, he moved to Copenhagen where he entered the Royal Danish Academy of Music and studied with Professor Milan Vitek. He graduated with a Soloist Diploma in 1986. That same year, Håkan took part in the Nordic Biennale for Young Soloists in Helsinki, where he performed Brahms’s violin concerto with Helsinki Philharmonics.
Since 1990, Håkan has been sharing his time between COE and Malmö Symphony Orchestra, where he is assistant concertmaster.
